Rick & Harold will be celebrating 30 years together this July. They were joined by their mothers on January 20th, 2012 for their Civil Union. 

They were introduced by mutual friends and have been together ever since. They wanted to open a nice bar in their community that was friendly, clean and welcoming to everyone. So, on December 18th, 1998 they officially opened Club Escapade downtown Belleville, Illinois.  Almost every month they have some sort of party or celebration at the bar and never charge a cover.  They were also instrumental in the creation and success of the 1st Metro East Pride Festival in 2008.  When they are not working at the bar, they enjoy spending time with their dog Lacy Marie and being outside boating, camping and being with friends and family.  The next time you stop in at Club Escapade, take the time to say “Hi” to these great guys and thank them for their dedication and vision for our community.
